Volunteers are required for the following committees within Percy MHA. If you are interested in volunteering for
a position on a committee , require a more defining description of the functions of a specific committee or are
just curious and have a question please send an email to : secretary@percyminorhockey.com
1) Awards and Banquet - A committee to assist with awards nominations, recipient selection
and banquet day activities
2) Tournaments - Volunteers needed to assist team managers and the Association with marketing and running
each of the Association tournaments
3) Dispute Resolution - As per OMHA guidance, a committee of Association and outside members to
create/implement policies and procedures for appropriate management of internal Association disputes and issues
4) Fund Raising - A group to review budget issues and develop/implement required fundraising activities
5) OMHA Rulings and Appeals Committee - Standby volunteers needed to review and assist with decisions
that need to be made regarding OMHA rules and rulings during the year
6) Ways and Means - A committee is needed to assist with the creation of the new Policy and Procedures
Manual and the maintenance of the current constitution.
7) Team, Coaching and Player Selection - Required is a compilation of individuals from within and outside
the Association to advise/recommend/assist in decisions regarding team level, team officials and player selection
assisting the Executive in required decisions
8) Public Relations - Various tasks including assistance with website input, newsletter creation, newspaper
and media correspondence and posting to our sign requires volunteers
9) Equipment and Jerseys - Individuals interested in helping with maintenance and administration of Association
equipment and jersey inventory
